Palmhouse Floral Risograph

The Palmhouse in Sefton Park is one of my favourite places and buildings in Liverpool. I’ve drawn it a few times but usually at a small icon scale. With this print I wanted to focus on the contrast between the delicate ordered geometric building exterior and the more flowing shapes created by the plants inside.

This print is a two colour Risograph print (Teal and Black) that is available in both A3 (297mm x 420mm) and A4 sizes (297mm x 210mm). Which uses environmentally friendly Soy based inks and is printed on recycled paper made from old coffee cups.

Risograph is a stencil based printing method where each colour is applied one at a time through a different stencil. As such every print is different and may have colours slightly offset. I love the effect it gives as it makes the prints look like they’re vintage prints made on an old printing press. Please bear this in mind while purchasing.
